In March 24 to 27, the four-day event of the first Metaverse Fashion Week Decentraland organised with 60+ participating brands who are the combination of legacy luxury fashion and digital-native brands , artists, and designers including Etro, Tommy Hilfiger, Perry Ellis, Dolce & Gabbana, Elie Saab, Hogan, Dundas, Imitation of Christ, Nicholas Kirkwood and beauty behemoth Estée Lauder, Vogue and this event had scored a roster of real-world fashion exhibitors that most first-time fashion events hosted in Metaverse, not in Paris, Milano, New York, London, in Decentraland platform. Metaverse Fashion Week bursted at the seams with immersive experiences, runway shows, panel talks, after-parties, shopping and much more, starting with exciting opening events in March 23. Metaverse Fashion Week Decentraland participant brands showcased their highly anticipated wearable collections, NFTs, digital spaces, and breakthrough activations during the eventful week. In the The Luxury Fashion District of Metaverse Fashion Week Decentraland where is owned by Metaverse Group, some of the industry’s most iconic brands to make their webAR and Web3 debut include the following: DUNDAS, Nicholas Kirkwood, Etro, Dolce&Gabbana, Elie Saab, Imitation of Christ and much more in collaboration with White Rabbit, crypto and metaverse-themed watchmaker Monnier Frères, Gary McQueen, Franck Muller, FaithTribe, Chufy, Jacob & Co, Mert Otsamo, Guo Pei, and AUROBOROS. The Parcel-MetaParty Community Precinct with it’s Fashion shows and talks, as well as mini games, DJs, music performances and parkour features, celebrated Decentraland’s creator community. This portable experience will give you access to an entirely different interface than you’re used to in Decentraland so be sure to grab a pair! To celebrate Fashion Week, Parcel will also launch unique glasses that can be found in and around the space at dedicated dispensers. The glasses will allow you to navigate from area to area more efficiently. Rarible Street was created with pop-up shops including Artcade @ Fred Segal with exclusive drops by Atari Hotels and Subnation, Placebo Digital Fashion House, Macr0matic (NFT artist), The Fabricant, Perry Ellis America, Artisant in collaboration with Fabeeo Breen, PUMA, Girls Gang Label, Miss J Collection by Crypto Couture, The Immersive Kind, the exclusive collection of digital VAULT.swiss watches, and Fresh Couture and inspired by the streets of New York, with concrete and urban vibes hosteed a temporary space, the Rarible Fresh Drip Zone. It was the first fashion event in Metaverse as a Metaverse Fashion Show in Decentraland but, the first thing to say is that if you are going to get into Decentraland, your hardware and especially graphic card and RAM are too much more important than your wearables.
